I managed to wait until 7:00 a.m. before waking the rest of the family. Yea, so I'm the big kid this Christmas. This is a historic occasion!

Here's Charis and Kurt holding a tiny snowman. You'll notice this is the only picture of Kurt outside. He didn't stay long. "It's too cold!" He's too young to realize how unusual this is...

Charis and I stayed out and had lots of fun, anyway. We had plenty of snowball fights and everything else we could think of.

Like I said, there was plenty of snow up in the treehouse, so Charis had a good time up there, bombarding her Dad from above...

To the left is the mini-snowman we built up there.

Someone else had fun in the snow before we got out there! If you look closely above, you can see squirrel tracks in the snow all over the tire swing and a spare board. There were also tracks and little holes dug all over the treehouse, but I couldn't get a good picture of those.

The snow was mostly melted by mid-afternoon, but the larger accumulations, such as the treehouse and places people built snowmen (not in direct sunlight) lasted for two days. What a fantastic Christmas!
