I know it's hard to tell a lot from this photo, but this is VERY cool. It's a replica of the cover of GI Joe #24 (from back in 1984). K. Bingham, a fellow Joe fan, made it for me and just sent it out of the blue.
This is 3-D. Each element of the cover is cut out (with an x-acto knife, I presume) and elevated to a diffrent height. You can see a few shadows here, but not the whole effect. I tried to light it well enough to show it off, but it's still hard to tell.
Anyway, a big thanks! to K. Bingham (who has also made some cool cardboard chairs for use in my next dio-story!)!!
